CAMP FONTANELLE

Camp Fontanelle was created in 1959 by the United Methodist Church with the purpose of creating an atmosphere of intentional Christian community through summer camping programs. Camp Fontanelle has 183 acres of trails and nature and now serves both adults and children through its programming. Overnight camps for all kids ages 4 to 18 run from Memorial weekend to August. The camp is available for other groups (scouting retreats, reunions, confirmation retreats, youth groups, birthday parties, etc.) for the remainder of the months. Heated and air-conditioned facilities and meals are available to groups making reservations. Programs for groups include outdoor laser tag, movie nights, sleeping in tree boats, swimming, water slides, challenge course, and recreational tree climbing. Driving Directions

FROM OMAHA: Take Maple or Dodge to Highway 275 West to Fremont. Follow 275 bypass to north side of Fremont and then turn right (north) on Highway 77 North. Go on Highway 77 North for about 3+ miles and then take a right (east) on Highway 91 east for 4 miles to the village of Fontanelle. Turn right (south) at the village of Fontanelle and go 2 miles. The road will turn to gravel and wind a bit. Camp Fontanelle's entrance will be on the right hand side of the road. When you see a big barn with a green metal roof, you are where you want to be!

FROM NORTH OMAHA/BLAIR: Take Highways 75 or 133 north to Blair. If on Highway 133, you'll have to go north another few miles on Highway 30 until you reach Blair. Go west on Highway 91 to the village of Fontanelle (about 15 miles from Kentucky Fried Chicken). Turn left (south) at the village of Fontanelle and go 2 miles. The road will turn to gravel and wind a bit. Camp Fontanelle's entrance will be on the right hand side of the road. When you see a big barn with a green metal roof, you are where you want to be!

FROM LINCOLN: Take Highway 77 North through Fremont. On the north side of Fremont by the Sapp Bros. proceed another 3+ miles and then take a right (east) on Highway 91 east for 4 miles to the village of Fontanelle. Turn right (south) at the village of Fontanelle and go 2 miles. The road will turn to gravel and wind a bit. Camp Fontanelle's entrance will be on the right hand side of the road. When you see a big barn with a green metal roof, you are where you want to be!

FROM NORTH OF FREMONT: Take Highway 275 East or Highway 77 South to the Highway 91 East junction about 3 miles north of Fremont. Take a left (east) on Highway 91 east for 4 miles to the village of Fontanelle. Turn right (south) at the village of Fontanelle and go 2 miles. The road will turn to gravel and wind a bit. Camp Fontanelle's entrance will be on the right hand side of the road. When you see a big barn with a green metal roof, you are where you want to be!

	Annual Fundraising BBQ Sept. 19, 2010
	Camp Fontanelle is the place to be on September 19th for an eventful afternoon. The corn maze opens at 1 pm. Auction, live entertainment, pony rides, laser tag, tree climbing, and more today only!
	September - November Pumpkin Patch
	Pumpkins of all sizes available, all for free will donation. Suggested prices posted, all donations support summer camp at Camp Fontanelle. Pick from gourds and pumpkins of all sizes up to 30 lb. carving pumpkins in our 2+ acre patch.
	Moovie Nights Oct. 23, Oct. 29 & Oct. 30, 2010
	At dusk (6:45ish) a movie will be projected using our LCD projector by the petting barn. Bring the family and your lawn chairs for an outdoor movie experience around a campfire! Check out the maze after the movie!
	Haunted-Oct. 23, Oct. 29 & Oct. 30, 2010 7 -
	Experience the sounds and sights (bring a flashlight!) of rustling corn and other surprises as you try to solve our maze in the darkness of the country night! CAUTION: May not be appropriate for young children or the faint of heart!
	Toys for Tots - Sept. 19-Oct. 31, 2010
	Bring a girls or boys new toy valued at $5 or more and get free admission! One toy = one free admission.
	LASER TAG - Sept. 19 - Oct. 31
	Enjoy Camp Fontanelle's outdoor laser tag in the spider web in the maze. Games are $3 for a 10 minute game. 2-6 pm on Sat. & Sundays. Make online reservations outside of regular maze hours.
	School Field Trips - Sept. - Nov. 1 , 2010
	For $4/student, enjoy the corn maze, petting barn, hike trails, get a small pumpkin or gourd, and use game area. 1 free chaperone/8 kids. Visit http://www.cornfieldmaze.com/planting_fieldtrips.html for details. Get password upon booking event.
	Hayrides
	Free rides contingent upon having qualified driver. Times of rides will be posted daily at the maze. Cost for reservation groups is $1/person for hayrides.
