Visit a 14th century castle and meet the bisons
Owned by the same blood line for the past 627 years, part of the property has been returned to its rightful owner after the communist nationalisation of 1946. The castle is being restored and a tourist center has grown around it. You can sleep, walk, ride, visit, relax, eat and observe the first bison herd in Poland. A milk farm and an arabian horse stud farm are also part of the domain.
Driving Directions
On the 765 Staszow-Szydlow road you reach Kurozweki, at the village square turn down towards the church, keep to your left, the entrance is on the right 700 meters further on. (if lost ask for the palace "pawats")
On the 764 Staszow-Rakow road, in the forest turn at the Kurozweki sign, after the second bridge turn right and up, at the church turn right and down, the entrance is on the right 600 meters further on. (if lost ask for the palace "pawats")
