Driving Directions

From the intersection of hwy.90 and loop 410 in San Antonio travel 26 miles west on hwy.90. Look for the MAiZE signs. The maze is located on the south side of hwy.90. If you go under the overpass and into Hondo you've gone too far.

MILITARY SPECIAL ON OUR OPENING WEEKEND!! Our opening weekend, 9/29-30, all retired and active duty military and their dependents receive FREE admission to the maze! Military I.D. required for this weekend's special. MILITARY SPECIAL VALID OPENING WEEKEND ONLY. Tri-County Antique Pullers Come out to our farm and see the great old timey tractors pulling against each other in competition! All tractor models are pre-1960 name brand tractors. Tractors will pull on Sat. 11/10/07 and plow on Sun. 11/11/07. Birthday parties at the South Texas MAiZE! It's great fun for birthday folks of all ages! Call our hotline or e-mail us for all the exciting details! Calling all Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts!! Come to the South Texas MAiZE with your troop at a special scout rate of $4.00 per scout, RESERVATION REQUIRED. The 2007 MAiZE patch may be purchased for an additional $1.00 (per patch) when your troop comes to the maze, while supplies last. Attention all HOMESCHOOLERS!!! Enjoy a field trip to the maze! Special days for home school families are 10/16/07 and 11/14/07 with extended hours, 9a.m.-3p.m. Special field trip rates: ages 4-adult,$4 each. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. DISCOUNT OPPORTUNITY!! Bring a canned food item and receive $1.00 off each general admission ticket.One can per ticket. Food will be donated to the Medina County Food Pantry in Hondo. DISCOUNTS CANNOT BE COMBINED Trick or Treat Weekends/Costume Contest Children 10 AND UNDER IN FULL COSTUME can trick or treat within the maze the weekends of: Fri.-Sun.,Oct.19-21 & Fri.-Sun.,Oct.26-28. COSTUME CONTEST HELD ON SAT. & SUN. ONLY AT 2PM. MILITARY DISCOUNT!! Show your military identification and receive $1.00 off a general admission ticket. (One discount per I.D.) Thank you for your service to our country!! PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS!!!! Come to the maze to select that perfect fall pumpkin! We will have a variety of pumpkins and decorative fall gourds for sale. Just in time for fall decorating! Your MAiZE admission includes: our 7 acre maze, the barrel train, children's play area, a hayride, the hay jump, and the mini "mind" maze.

Field Trips

Field trips are available by RESERVATION ONLY on weekdays from 9-2p.m., allow 1-3 hours. Students are $4.00 each. ONE CHAPERONE/TEACHER IS REQUIRED PER 3-4 STUDENTS, no charge for the required # of chaperones/teachers. Contact Laurie Graff for info.

For your convenience the South Texas MAiZE has picnic areas, porta potties with hand washing facilities and a concession stand.
