Come join us this August for a MAiZE behind-the-scenes learning tour of Vala’s Pumpkin Patch, undoubtedly one of the top agritourism farms in the world. Over the years we’ve had many of you express how you’d like to visit Vala’s during their season and this is your chance! Tim, Jan and their whole family have graciously agreed to welcome our MAiZE family to their farm, during their final preparations for opening to the public!

 

Deadline - July 18

The deadline for registration and hotel reservations is July 18. Shoud you register and then need to cancel for any reason after that date, there may be a cancellation fee (depending on any expenses on your behalf that we can't reverse) depending on how late you cancel.

Block rate is $99/night for August 19 & 20

Rate includes:

  • Complimentary breakfast

  • Complimentary shuttle to/from airport

  • Complimentary WiFi

  • Complimentary parking OR a free drink voucher per person (specially negotiated for our group)​

Transportation

If flying, you will want to fly in/out of the Omaha (Eppley Field) airport. The hotel is just a few miles away and has a complimentary shuttle. You will not need to rent a car, as the welcome dinner the first night is within walking distance and we will be providing bus transportation to/from Vala's each day. If you are driving, the hotel typically charges for parking, but we have arranged for each room to either receive free parking or free drink vouchers. You can let the hotel know which you prefer when you arrive.

 

Welcome Dinner (optional) - Tuesday, August 19 at 7 p.m. 

The private room at the restaurant is now sold out. For anyone registering last-minute who'd like to at least eat at the same restaurant, they do have public seating available as well).

If you arrive in town early enough Tuesday night (August 19) and would like to join us for an optional welcome dinner in Omaha's Old Market area of downtown (near the hotel), it'll be a great chance to connect, enjoy some of Omaha's famous beef with a steak dinner & hear a few words of welcome from Vala's and our MAiZE staff.
