Agenda Highlights
Keynote Speaker
Few speakers bring the balance of practical content and excitement that Lee Rubin brings to the stage. His unique background as a Captain of the Penn State Football team and a Corporate Human Resources professional, has prepared him to share timeless truths on Peak Performance and Teambuilding, inspiring individuals and companies to reach their full potential and WIN.
Lessons from a legend
There's no one better to kick off a new speaking highlight of the Corn Party - Lessons from a Legend - than our friend Tim Vala. A trail-blazing pioneer of our agritourism industry, Tim will share his journey building Vala's Pumpkin Patch & Orchard, lessons learned and advice he might share with the rest of us.
Talent Showcases
Ventastic has been enjoyed by audiences of all ages aboard Disney Cruise Line for 20+ years!!! Michael Harrison is an extraordinarily-talented ventriloquist and master showman who performed at many fairs in his early days and just performed this last fall at Cornbelly's. Not only will Michael showcase his talent for us, but through his Regal Talent Group he'll also be introducing us to other potential acts to perform at our farms!
Breakout Sessions
Erin Roebuck leads Talent Acquisition for Hallmark and is just one of several speakers presenting in the afternoon breakout sessions. With more than 19 years of experience in talent acquisition, culture, employment brand, and talent development, Erin will share her insights on employee hiring & recruiting...the Hallmark way!

The annual MAiZE Siteowner’s Conference is a wonderful opportunity to expose your products or services, in a face-to-face setting, with more than 300 of our corn maze operators. Each year, the conference features an intimate vendor display area, where a handful of companies are invited and given permission to share their information with the attendees.
Participate
SET UP A DISPLAY: Register for an 8x10 booth space where you can share your products/services firsthand on March 3-4.
SUBMIT A FLIER and/or sample to be included in each attendee's conference registration bag by signing up for the vendor packet.Â
SPONSOR the Corn Party for added exposure. Email kamille@themaize.com for a list of sponsorship options.
AUCTION or BUS PRIZES: Want added exposure, while contributing to a good cause? Register a live or silent auction item, benefitting the MAiZE's college and humanitarian scholarship fund. Another great option is to donate items to be given out as prizes on the Tuesday farm bus tour.

Transportation
Airport | Rental Cars
For those flying into Kansas City International Airport (MCI), it is located about 35 minutes north of the conference hotel. Best options for travel include:
- Rent a car so you have it for the optional Explore KC and Road Trip days. Parking is free at the hotel.
- Your registration will include bus transportation on March 5 for the farm bus tour. All other transportation will be on your own.
- If you prefer not to rent a car, Uber is the best option for roughly $60 each way.
- If you prefer to use a shuttle service, the one that has been recommended is https://5gtkc.com/
- If driving to St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon/evening for the start of the Transworld show on Thursday, you'll want to return rental cars & fly home from the St. Louis International Airport (STL)
